Host a watch party to watch YouTube together with friends! Our player will make sure you will always see and listen to the same moments together!

Start Watching Together

After you click Start Watching, the player will start to synchronize with everyone else in your group. So when you hit play/pause, or change the current time, your change will be synced to everyone.

Every time the player synchronizes your playback, a small indicator will appear. Therefore, you can be sure, that everyone is seeing the same moment at the same time!

Search, Queue, and Play Videos

You can search for any videos on YouTube directly on GroupTube. You can also paste a link to a video, playlist, or channel directly (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-ZZNUIpnDQ). Play videos directly by clicking ▶︎ or add them to the queue by clicking +.

To organize your playback, use the queue to manage a playlist of videos. Use Auto-play to automatically start new videos from the queue when the previous video finishes.

How to Stop the Player

When you don't want to keep watching anymore you can click ⏹︎. Now your local player will only show a preview of the video, but not play it. You can start watching again anytime.
